frequently asked questions

How much will therapy cost?

We are in network for several insurance plans and offer sliding scale fees that are often lower than most private practice settings. Reach out to us for details on our out of pocket fees and/or to have your insurance benefits confirmed.

How will I get matched with a therapist?

You can view our therapist bios by clicking About Us at the top of this page and selecting the state in which you live. Fill our our new client form and request a specific therapist if you have a preference! Otherwise, we will match you based on scheduling availability and the best fit to support you.

How long will therapy last?

It’s completely up to you! Some clients come to us for a short term concern and others build a long term relationship with their therapist for ongoing support. You and your therapist will discuss your goals and check in regularly to ensure you’re getting what you need out of sessions.

Who do you work with?

We work with adults of all backgrounds. We are an LGBTQ+, people of color, and disability affirming practice.

Where do you offer sessions?

We are accepting new clients for virtual therapy sessions for clients living in California, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, and Virginia.

How does virtual therapy work?

We hold secure, confidential sessions through video or phone, whichever you prefer. Studies have shown virtual therapy is just as effective as in person therapy. It also allows for greater flexibility in scheduling and accessibility.

Do you offer a free phone consult?

Yes! Please reach out to schedule. We will respond to all inquiries within 2 business days.

How long are sessions?

Sessions will last approximately 45-60 minutes. We book each session by the hour so you don’t feel rushed!

What if I have a question not answered here?
